Holiday Season
Holiday Time is rapidly approaching… It’s time to Feast! A few tips to take care of your Super Stars this Holiday Season
- Be careful with Fatty foods. Too much can give your pet pancreatitis or gastroenteritis both of which are very painful and can be life- threatening.
- Maintaining your pet’s meal and exercise schedule. Changing it up can cause an upset stomach, diarrhea, and/or vomiting.
- No bones for your dog. Bones can lacerate or obstruct your pet’s insides.
- No onions for your pet. They will destroy ther red blood cells and lead to anemia.
- No grapes or raisins for your dog or cat. They can cause kidney damage.
- No chocolate for your furry friends as chocolate can be fatal to both dogs and cats.
- Keep food wrappings such as aluminum foil and wax paper out of reach of your dog or cat. These wrappings can cause internal obstruction.
- Make sure your pet always has fresh water.
- Keep an eye on your pet to make sure they are not stressed during the festivities. Create a quiet retreat for them in case they get too stressed.
- Make sure your dog doesn’t get into the garbage. Keep the garbage securely fastened. Eating unfamiliar foods can cause multiple health problems to your little one.
